Richard Ross

Richard has over 25 years of operations, technology and business turnaround experience in the energy, financial services, transportation, retail, healthcare, defense and high tech industries. He’s also worked extensively with private equity firms as COO/CIO for their portfolio companies and has been a frequent speaker on operational, management, cost reduction, and investment issues.

Richard served as the first CIO for Amerada Hess, a $13 Billion, diversified energy company operating across 30 countries, where he decreased the cost of IT services by 40%, while improving the delivery of strategic applications across all business units. His experience ranges from startups to corporations such as IBM, British Airways and Salomon Brothers, McKinsey & Co. and CSC, one of the world’s largest computer systems services firms.

Richard has a Masters in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University and a BS in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Washington University.
