Arthur I. Burak
Art brings to Callydus more than 30 years experience developing entrepreneurial real estate and facilities solutions. He’s saved clients millions of dollars by finessing real estate transactions involving offices, warehouses, retail space, and other facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally.
Art’s experience, financial acumen and industry contacts have enabled him to serve a wide range of clients including the Vatican, Rockefeller Group, LVMH, Sephora, Kimco Realty Trust and Gordon Brothers, in transactions including space development, financings and the elimination of expenses typically hidden in lease costs, renewals and expansions. He’s also enhanced clients’ real estate holdings value through creative leasing, sale, redevelopment and redesign, and has completed transactions in nearly every major U.S. market. At Macy’s, Art served as Group Vice President of Real Estate, through the critical periods of Macy's LBO and bankruptcy. His expertise was instrumental during Macy’s purchase of Bullock’s and I. Magnin — just two of Art’s leadership successes in over $2 billion in real estate financings.
